Headway, the brain injury association is a registered charity in England (No.1025852). Its aims are to promote understanding of all aspects of head injury and to provide information, support and services to people who have suffered a head injury, their family and carers.
Headway Newcastle and North Tyneside is a local charity affiliated to the national charity. We are a charity in our own right. We raise money to benefit people in the Newcastle and North Tyneside areas.
Our aim is to provide support, information and companionship for individuals and families affected by brain injury.

We run a Social Evening every Tuesday evening (6-8pm) at our base in Wallsend, North Tyneside. Survivors of brain injury are welcome who are at various stages of recovery.
